Gate’s oldest non-petroleum division, Gate Concrete Products was acquired in 1980 and is a leader in the precast/prestressed concrete industry.  This company provides prestressed concrete products for bridges, parking garages, stadiums and building structures throughout the southeast.

Gate Concrete Products manufactures bridge girders, piling, carbon fiber double tees, columns, beams, wall panels and hollow core slabs on an impressive 85-acre facility. These building components are used by marine, bridge and building contractors on commercial, industrial and Department of Transportation projects.

A major expansion is under way at the plant that will add a 144,000 square-foot enclosed manufacturing facility where Gate Concrete will produce insulated and brick inlay architectural precast panels in addition to its current lines of structural and hollow core components.

Gate Concrete has two completely modernized concrete batching facilities, producing zero-slump concrete, conventional concrete, and the latest self-compacting concrete.  The plant is OSHA SHARP certified, PCI certified, and its Quality Control laboratory is both CMEC and D.O.T. certified.

Gate Concrete Products’ facility allows for truck delivery and also features complete barge-loading capabilities for distribution to Gulf and Atlantic coast destinations.
